The Mets aren’t the only team dealing with a superstar undergoing hand surgery. Diamondbacks standout outfielder Corbin Carroll is undergoing surgery for a broken hamate bone in his right hand, according to ESPN. Carroll will reportedly no longer participate for Team USA in the upcoming World Baseball Classic and his availability for the Diamondbacks’ season-opening road game against the back-to-back defending World Series champion Dodgers on March 26 is also uncertain.
