Derek Jeter-David Samson feud exploded into Hall of Fame shouting match

Bygones are not bygones when it comes to Derek Jeter and David Samson. Samson, the former Marlins executive, has long been critical of the ex-Yankees captain for his short-lived tenure as a minority owner and CEO of the Miami franchise, and that beef went from simmering to a full-on boil during the Hall of Fame weekend in July. They ran into one another in Cooperstown — Samson as part of Ichiro Suzuki’s delegation — and it didn’t take long for the lingering feelings to get exposed.
