Aaron Judge’s bat — and oven mitt — sparks Yankees in laugher over Brewers

MILWAUKEE — Credit Aaron Judge’s left hand for its first save of the season.   As the Yankees’ captain slid into second base during the sixth inning, his outstretched hand bore the brunt of Willy Adames’ attempted throw to first — on a play that crew chief Andy Fletcher later said should have been called interference — breaking up what would have been a double play. One pop out later, the Brewers should have been out of the inning in a tie game.
