Matthew Schaefer got himself in a tussle during the Islanders’ 5-4 overtime loss to the Devils on Saturday night at UBS Arena. Late in the second period, Schaefer, 19, got into it with Luke Hughes, the Devils’ 23-year-old defenseman, in a wild scene. During a break in the action, Islanders defenseman Logan Stanley and New Jersey’s Brett Pesce got into it, which then sparked a team-wide fight between the two clubs.
