The doomed Learjet pilot heard reciting the Lord’s Prayer moments before crashing in Florida was a devout Christian who “went home to be with the Lord,” his church said. Captain Jeff Gregory, a 55-year-old married dad of three, was a devoted member of the Limerick Chapel in Pennsylvania, where both his parents had worked, a close friend, David Peters, told the Sun. The church emailed congregants to break the harrowing news that the pilot was among the nine confirmed dead in Sunday’s crash.
