“60 Minutes” was aware that the married father of two it profiled on Sunday claimed he was gay on immigration documents in an apparent effort to avoid being deported, according to a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official. The CBS News program was informed of the seemingly fraudulent claims the deported migrant, Moussa Diawara, made about his sexuality on an asylum application a full two weeks before the segment aired, a DHS spokesperson told The Post Tuesday. But the program made no mention of Diawara, who is married to a woman, invoking his alleged homosexuality in the documents from 2012 as a means to block deportation to his native Mali over discrimination concerns.
