Starting July 1, 2027, employers across the state can't rely solely on software to discipline or fire a worker. California Gov. Gavin Newsom last week signed the No Robo Bosses Act, SB 947, which determines that as ofJuly 1, 2027, employers across the state can't rely solely on software to discipline or fire a worker.
