A hit-and-run driver who rammed into a uniformed NYPD cop responding to a rowdy weekend gathering in the Bronx was arrested early Monday, authorities said. Eduardo Paulino, 31, was picked up by the US Marshals Service and the NYPD and charged with attempted murder of a police officer in connection with the Saturday night mayhem, law enforcement sources said. Paulino – who has one previous arrest for an assault just last month – tried to make a quick getaway when cops responded to Garrison Avenue and Whittier Street in the South Bronx after receiving a 911 call about a large crowd and loud music, according to cops and sources.
