Amber Guyger, the ex-Dallas cop who murdered her neighbor in his own home after she accidentally walked into the wrong apartment in 2018, was released from a Texas prison Friday on parole. Guyger, 38, strolled out of the Christina Melton Crain Unit in Gatesville after serving seven of her 10-year sentence, NBC News reported, according to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. 6 Amber Guyger was released from prison on parole Friday, seven years after she was found guilty of murdering Botham Jean.
