Massive sinkhole opens up on busy Los Angeles street swallowing entire van

A Spectrum service van was trapped and slowly swallowed by a sinkhole following a severe water main break in an affluent Los Angeles neighborhood Wednesday afternoon. The break flooded the busy intersection of Franklin and Normandie avenues in Los Feliz, sending water rushing down Normandie. The torrent tore through the asphalt and gushed from beneath the street.
