Disneyland destroys 71-year-old piece of park history

Disneyland has demolished another piece of its history as the “Happiest Place on Earth” plows ahead with a massive expansion. The final two ticket booths on the eastern side of the Southern California theme park’s main entrance in Anaheim have been bulldozed, wiping out structures that date back 71 years. Aerial images captured from the Disneyland monorail and shared on social media Tuesday showed the destruction behind construction walls in the Esplanade area.
