Aaron Boone has the support of one former Yankees manager to keep his job after another failed season ended in the ALDS. Former skipper Joe Girardi, the last Yanks manager to lead the team to a World Series title, went to bat for Boone during an appearance on “The Show with Joel Sherman and Jon Heyman” released Tuesday. Indications are Boone will return to The Bronx next season, but calls for his job have come since the Yankees were swept out of the playoffs by the Rays last week.
