An aspiring LA 2028 Olympian lost her home to the devastating storm over the weekend after Tropical Storm Rachel battered the Long Beach coast. Paris Porter, who is aiming to sail for Team USA in the 2028 Olympics, posted a heartfelt video this week mourning the loss of her beachfront abode. “You know that house you constantly see half-crumbled in the news, drone shots, and viral posts of the Long Beach Peninsula? Well, that was our home 💔 Three hurricane swells in six weeks in Southern California? Unheard of…,” she wrote.
