California gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton has launched an anti-trans attack on rival Xavier Becerra in a bid to win over Hispanic voters and women. Hilton has accused Becerra of “extremism” for supporting trans boys playing in girls’ sports with a new ad in Spanish directly targeting Hispanic voters. The ad features a hulking trans soccer player with a mustache bashing his way past young girls as one of their fathers watches on helplessly.
