Not even the Orioles mascot escaped the layoffs that have swept through the MLB organization. More than two dozen employees were let go by the Orioles in layoffs that touched everything from ticket sales to graphic design and included the individuals who played The Oriole Bird and Mr. Splash, The Athletic reported Tuesday.
