The threat of a possible Iranian drone attack triggered the US to remove a fleet of American B-1 bombers from a UK air base over the weekend, according to multiple reports.   The plot was cooked up by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and aimed to destroy US aircraft and kill American service members stationed at RAF Fairford, a military base about 90 miles west of London, the Wall Street Journal and New York Times reported on Monday.   The potential attack was described by US officials as “complex, multipronged.
