President Trump released the text of a voluntary accord signed by tech leaders Tuesday, which he described as a “constitution” that will allow for the safe development of artificial intelligence. “The biggest people in the world signed that, and I signed it as president, and it really is a form of protection… I think it’s morally binding,” Trump said of the agreement. Along with Trump, the document was signed by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg; SpaceX, Tesla and X boss Elon Musk; Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei; Google CEO Sundar Pichai; Nvidia chief Jensen Huang; and OpenAI President Greg Brockman.
