Case Keenum’s epic Bears performance in first start since 2023 comes with ‘special’ family twist

Case Keenum put on a show in his first start in three years in the Bears’ 27-7 win over the Eagles, which included the 38-year-old scoring his first rushing touchdown since 2019.   The veteran quarterback finished the game with 24 completed passes for 247 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for six yards, including the fourth-quarter TD when he called his own number on third-and-goal and dove into the end zone.   The effort by Keenum helped the Bears win their second game of the season, and it was the first time he had three total touchdowns in a game since the 2019 season opener, coincidentally against the Eagles during his time with Washington.
