The cold open of “SNL” set at the Upper East Side’s Grace Mansion, featured Hizzoner portrayed by comedian Ramy Youssef, filming an “urgent message” for New Yorkers as the city braces for the impact of the looming nor’easter storm. In the sketch, Mamdani is seen filming a TikTok video telling Gothamites to “shelter in place, y’all” dancing to upbeat club music, despite the severity of the incoming brutal storm.
