This is one World Cup booking that doesn’t have a Hollywood ending. The Beverly Wilshire – the famed Beverly Hills hotel where Julia Roberts and Richard Gere shacked up in “Pretty Woman” – is suing a luxury sports travel company for $636,000 after it allegedly canceled a massive booking just five months before the soccer tournament kicked off. The landmark Four Seasons hotel, perched at Wilshire Boulevard and Rodeo Drive in the heart of the 90210, claims Jet Set Sports booked 300 rooms for six nights during the World Cup’s Los Angeles run – then walked away from the deal, with the hotel unable to rebook the rooms.
