Lawrence Tanter, Lakers longtime PA announcer, dead at 76

Longtime Lakers public address announcer Lawrence Tanter died, the franchise announced on Wednesday night. He was 76 years old.   “We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of legendary Lakers public address announcer Lawrence Tanter,” the Lakers said in a statement Wednesday.
