Beef, pork and goat meat sold in California part of giant recall impacting 165,000 pounds of product

Thousands of pounds of raw beef, pork and goat meat sold in California and across the country are being recalled after federal officials said the products were produced without required inspection. North Carolina-based Star Meat Delivery Inc. is recalling about 167,639 pounds of meat nationally labeled with a false USDA inspection mark, according to the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.
