Connecticut Sun center Brittney Griner’s estranged wife Cherelle responded to her July 30 divorce filing in Fulton County (Ga. ) after eight years of marriage, according to TMZ. Cherelle, a 34-year-old lawyer, is asking the court to award her financial support and explained that there is a “substantial disparity” in income — and she reportedly is “unable to meet her reasonable financial needs on a monthly basis without continued support.
