Longtime NHL enforcer Ryan Reaves retires after 16 seasons

Ryan Reaves is calling it a career.   The NHL enforcer announced Wednesday that he was retiring from hockey in a lengthy post on social media.   “Today, I retire from the sport I’ve loved since I was 5 years old,” he wrote on Instagram.
