Roman Reigns and Penta delivered a home run and gave everyone plenty to think about. Their stellar World Heavyweight championship match Monday on Raw at Arena CDMX in Mexico City was eye-opening: all the things that make pro wrestling special, why WWE’s new commitment to lucha libre is important and why some of the company’s booking blueprint could need a change. We watched Reigns continue his next-level year in the ring as he won yet another match without any shenanigans or outside help — unlike so much else we saw previously from him and see too often in WWE.
