The legacy of Tommy Lasorda is expected to hit theaters in the near future, and it’s believed to have one of Hollywood’s finest playing the Hall of Fame Los Angeles Dodgers manager. Robert De Niro is in talks to play Lasorda in the upcoming film “Tommy & Me,” according to Deadline, 3 Tommy Lasorda with the Dodgers after winning Game 4 of the NLCS in 1977. Sports Illustrated via Getty Images Details have yet to emerge as to what approach the film will take in telling Lasorda’s story, but the script will be led by George Gallo, Cambron Clark and Reid Carolin.
