Man charged with murder in death of NYC mom killed in front of 7-year-old daughter

A 41-year-old man was charged with murder Saturday in the slaying of a Washington Heights mom who was beaten to death in front of her 7-year-old daughter, police said. Photos obtained by The Post show Tiliek Shamel Thompson, 41, flanked by detectives as he was escorted out of the 33rd Precinct station house after being charged in the death of 27-year-old Lovay Williams. Thompson surrendered at the 33rd Precinct earlier Saturday, according to his attorney, Neville Dexter.
