From a park to a horseshoe stadium to a bowl configuration to the “Granddaddy of Them All,” the Rose Bowl has evolved for more than a century. The newest iteration includes a swanky field-level club that’s both a nod to the stadium’s storied past and modern indulgence. The $30-million Field Club was unveiled Thursday evening at a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Rose Bowl, two days before it will officially open for UCLA’s home opener against San Diego State.
