By keeping former NFL players Dae’Quan Wright and Zxavian Harris off his roster for Saturday’s game, Lane Kiffin is trying to account for the uncertainties in a college football ecosystem full of them. Kiffin, during an appearance on “College GameDay” said he believes Wright and Harris “have an opportunity to play” but, as the head coach of the Tigers, wanted to act with the “big picture” in mind — beyond the Tigers’ season-opening game against Clemson that now feels like an afterthought in a week where the SEC filed a lawsuit against one of its own teams and coaches. “That wasn’t easy,” Kiffin said of the decision during his appearance.
