Sean McVay’s recent response give puzzling thoughts on Rams backup quarterback situation

Earlier this week, the Los Angeles Rams released their depth chart for the upcoming season and have veteran quarterback Stetson Bennett as the team’s backup quarterback. While the depth chart has him as the backup, head coach Sean McVay would tell you otherwise, as he believes Bennett and rookie quarterback Ty Simpson are both the backups. “I look at it as you like both of those are going to play,” McVay said on Friday.
