Alex Accetta, the wife of Alabama men’s basketball’s head coach Nate Oats, rejoined the Crimson Tide staff as the director of program relations, the school announced Thursday in a press release. Accetta, who married Oats in July, previously worked with the basketball program in 2015 as a student assistant before being promoted to operations coordinator in 2017 and then director of basketball operations in 2021. Oats, 51, and Accetta, 31, were married after he quietly divorced his previous wife, Crystal Oats, in 2023 after 26 years.
