Jon Cherry/Getty Images A United Nations report is urging the world to zero out carbon emissions to prevent cataclysmic warming of the planet, even as others have said a more measured approach to climate change is needed. 50 leading climate scientists said in the report, called "Limiting Overshoot," that humanity's best chance to eventually bring temperatures down to a tolerable level is to zero out carbon emissions and deploy carbon removal strategies.
