A Kansas City bride has gone viral after being summoned for jury duty on the same day as her wedding in Rome. Katrina Badowski, 35, received the notice last month that would’ve forced her to complete one week of jury duty starting from Monday – the day of her nuptials with husband-to-be Billie Rodriguez, 42, that was taking place more than 5,000 miles away. “My jaw physically dropped like a cartoon,” she told KSHB outside the Wyandotte County District Court while wearing a white dress, recalling the moment she received the notice on Aug.
