Ousted Venezuela dictator Nicolas Maduro has slimmed down during his time behind bars, new photos from his New York City jail show — as the socialist also flashed a smile and peace sign. Maduro, 63, is beaming in a gray track suit and pair of white sneakers in the photographs from Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, which were dated June 25, 2026. US Special Forces captured the socialist and his wife Cilia Flores at their heavily guarded home in Caracas during a January 3 nighttime raid ordered by President Trump.
