Walmart has agreed to pay $50 million (roughly equivalent to €42. 5 million or £38 million) to settle a Justice Department lawsuit accusing its pharmacies of unlawfully filling thousands of invalid prescriptions for opioids and other controlled substances, the department announced on Friday.
