Good Good Golf pulls out of PGA tournament sponsorship as fallout from ad controversy takes another turn

The latest shoe has dropped in the Good Good Golf saga, with the content brand stepping away as the title sponsor of a PGA Tour tournament in November amid the ongoing fallout from a controversial driver advertisement.   The PGA Tour announced in a statement it had “been informed” of the decision by Good Good Golf to “step away as sponsor of the event in Austin, Texas, this fall,” which came hours after Callaway severed ties with the brand.   “We agree with their decision to use this time to focus on their organization and the work ahead,” the Tour’s statement said.
