WASHINGTON — President Trump took a lap of honor around IndyCar’s Freedom 250 Grand Prix 1. 7-mile circuit near the US Capitol on Sunday to kick off the capstone event of DC summer festivities for America’s semiquincentennial. During his lap in “the Beast” around the circuit, Air Force One flew over the course, capping off a series of flyovers, which included a B-2 bomber, to herald the big race.
