A beloved white peacock was allegedly chased down and beaten by a mailman in a shocking attack that left the bird writhing on the ground, and furious neighbors demanding accountability. Video of the confrontation in a Pasadena neighborhood appears to show the mailman repeatedly going after the bird rather than simply trying to scare it away. 3 The peacock was left so badly injured that it could not get back up.
