Long Island cops chased hooligans from town to town to thwart massive weekend street takeovers before finally nailing them wildly burning rubber and busting 15 of them. The Suffolk County Police Department’s Street Takeover Task Force moved in on the scofflaws Saturday just after midnight as the road rabble-rousers shut down a street in Medford, where the reckless drivers were drag-racing and performing donuts, burnouts and even doing dangerous stunts in middle of the street, officials said.   3 Smoke billows from a scofflaw’s vehicle during a wild street takeover.
