A bougie restaurant atop a California Eataly was forced to shut its doors after a live cockroach was spotted crawling on a kitchen wall, according to a stomach-churning health inspection report. Terra Restaurant and Bar — located on the third floor of Eataly Silicon Valley in San Jose — had its health permit suspended on Friday due to vermin contamination. An inspector with the County of Santa Clara Department of Environmental Health found a live cockroach crawling on the wall above the hand-washing sink in the kitchen, as well as dead cockroaches in the food preparation area, per the report.
