A beloved Maui man was allegedly beaten to death while feeding stray cats in a popular tourist area. Alfred Kailihiwa, 71, died after suspects Johnathan Koko-Kong, 31, and Richard Kealoha-Kaauwai, 34, allegedly attacked him on August 6 in Kahului on Maui’s North Shore. 9 Famed cat lover Alfred Kailihiwa was viciously beaten to death, prosecutors say.
