Derek Carr is returning to football life in California. Carr, the former Oakland and Las Vegas Raiders quarterback and a four-time Pro Bowler, is joining the UCLA football team’s coaching staff in a volunteer role as a special advisor. The news, announced Monday, marks a big win for the Bruins, as having a coach with 11 NFL seasons under his belt will provide a ton of of experience and wisdom for the roster.
