Zohran Mamdani appointed an ex- judge to his Advisory Committee on the Judiciary who is accused of allowing racism and antisemitism to fester at a non-profit, court papers reveal. Milton Tingling was appointed to the new committee last month, but also serves as board chair of the West Harlem Development Corporation (WHDC), currently under fire over alleged racism from its executive director, Zaed Ramadan. “Ramadan … engaged in a pattern of unprofessional and discriminatory behavior in the workplace, including racist, antisemitic, and otherwise ethnically offensive remarks,” the lawsuit filed by ex-board member Vince Morgan charges.
