Passenger dies mid-flight on LAX-bound plane after multiple CPR attempts

A routine flight to Los Angeles descended into horror Friday morning when a passenger died after suffering a mid-flight fatal medical emergency. Southwest Airlines Flight 958 was en route to LAX from Dallas when the victim suddenly suffered a medical episode and stopped responding. Desperate crew members and good Samaritans tried to save the man’s life, performing CPR as the plane continued toward Southern California.
