The family of the deranged North Carolina career criminal accused of terrorizing women in a string of alarming street encounters had repeatedly begged authorities to get him off the streets, according to his sister. Di-Quan Schafar Hunt, 32, was arrested Thursday after a series of self-recorded videos of him chasing and attacking strangers in Charlotte went viral online. Hunt has a lengthy criminal past, with at least nine arrests and a recent habit of attacking neighbors at random in the Dilworth neighborhood, his sister confirmed to WSOC.
