A knifeman who allegedly stabbed a 68-year-old man to death in broad daylight had been released from jail just a day earlier. Marcos Iriarte-Valdez, 36, was originally arrested over a spate of burglaries on April 29, before he was released then rearrested for breaching his home detention last Tuesday. During a court appearance on Wednesday a judge ordered him freed on his own recognizance and referred him back to the home detention monitoring program.
