Anti-Israel Mayor Zohran Mamdani and Jewish NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch appeared chummy Tuesday at “National Night Out Against Crime” events — days after the police boss reportedly called out “antisemitic rhetoric. ” The pair gave every indication of mutual friendliness onstage at the back-to-back events in Bed-Stuy in Brooklyn and Harlem in Manhattan, where they hyped up the annual community-building program designed to foster partnerships between neighborhood members and police. As a loud and excited Mamdani worked the crowd, Tisch touted recent NYPD statistics showing dramatic declines in crime.
