City officials on Tuesday began slapping giant, neon-green “shame stickers” on the cars of drivers who fail to follow alternate side parking rules. The 8. 5 x 11-inch adhesives were brought back by Manhattan Council Member Gale Brewer, who sponsored a bill allowing street sweepers to stick it to scofflaw drivers.
