Teen boy vanishes after alleged rape by California therapist — as mom fears he’s made a shocking decision

The mother of a California teen allegedly raped by his juvenile hall therapist said her son has run away from home — and she fears he may be visiting the clinician in violation of court orders. Former jail counselor Sofia Drotts, 26, of San Francisco, is free on bail after she was hit Monday with a slew of felony charges, including unlawful sexual intercourse, related to her relationship with the teen. Drotts was arrested two weeks ago for allegedly grooming and raping the teenager, whom she counseled at a Contra Costa County juvenile hall.
