During the San Francisco Giants’ 16-3 victory against the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday afternoon, a fan had a moment with a foul ball he’d never forget. Ahead 3-2 in the bottom of the fifth inning, Rafael Devers worked a 2-2 count against Chad Patrick and fouled a ball off just near the third base dugout. The ball popped up and traveled along the foul line in left field but would eventually get lost in the sun during the middle of a summer’s day at Oracle Park.
